The Noida Police has issued a notice to Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT-2, requiring him to appear for questioning regarding the snake venom case. Yadav has been named as a suspect in the investigation.

Previously, an FIR had been filed against six individuals, including Elvish Yadav, for allegedly providing snake venom at a rave party in Noida. This case was reassigned under the direction of Lakshmi Singh, the Police Commissioner of Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has clarified that he has no sway over the case proceedings, emphasizing that the police will take appropriate action if Elvish is found guilty. Khattar had shared a stage with Elvish during a fan meet, where he congratulated the YouTuber for winning Bigg Boss OTT-season 2.

In a YouTube video, Elvish Yadav vehemently denied the charges against him, stating that he is willing to surrender if proven to be involved. He expressed, “When I woke up, I saw the FIR which stated that Maneka Gandhi’s NGO (People for Animals) had filed this case. That lady was claiming that I walk around with snakes around my neck. It was all for the shooting of a song and nothing else. I will not tarnish my reputation and my family’s name by engaging in such unlawful activities. If I have even one percent involvement in this case, I will turn myself in, whether the penalty is 10 years or 100 years. Everyone knows that my integrity has not stooped so low that I would engage in this kind of work.”

Furthermore, the case has been transferred from the Noida Police station in Sector 49 to Sector 20. BJP MP Maneka Gandhi has already called for Elvish Yadav arrest in this case. Some individuals involved in supplying snake venom at the party in Noida have already been apprehended by the police. This case gained media attention after Elvish Yadav’s name emerged in connection with it. He has, however, staunchly denied all allegations and stated his intention to cooperate with the Noida Police in their investigation.

This case has not only shocked animal lovers but has also raised concerns about the types of parties where illegal substances are being served.
