Noida: Elderly woman struck by SUV loses her life

Promptly, the car’s driver rushed the injured woman to the hospital, demonstrating a commendable act of urgency. Tragically, despite the best efforts of the medical team, she could not overcome the gravity of her injuries and passed away during the course of treatment.

Krishna Narang, a resident of the Mahagun Moderne society in Noida, had been living there with her husband, enjoying the tranquility of the community. Her untimely demise has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and neighbors.

The CCTV footage, captured from a camera stationed at the society’s main gate, vividly portrays the horrifying moment when Narang, adorned in a green kurta, was struck by the SUV. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Harish Chandra, provided insights into the sequence of events, stating that Narang was merely taking a leisurely walk along the society’s road. Tragically, as a car emerged from the basement, executing a turn, it collided with her, leading to the catastrophic outcome. The driver of the vehicle, displaying a sense of responsibility, promptly admitted Ms. Narang to the hospital, where despite the best efforts of the medical staff, she succumbed to her injuries. The family was promptly informed of this heartbreaking turn of events.
