Haryana Nuh violence: Educational institutions to remain closed in Sohna on August 2

In light of the communal tensions that have arisen between two groups in the neighboring district of Nuh, Haryana, the government and private educational institutions in the Sohna sub-division of Gurugram district will remain closed on August 2, 2023. The Gurugram administration has also banned the sale of loose petrol and diesel to avoid any misused due to ongoing tensions in the state

The recent outbreak of violence has caused blockages on roads in bordering parts of Gurugram, particularly in Sohna, which has prompted the district administration to take this precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and others.

The state police have urged everyone to maintain peace and harmony during this time and have also cautioned that those who have participated in the violence will be held accountable for their actions.
