Iran-Israel war may trigger uncertainty in the Middle East.

Iran has issued a fresh warning to pilots asking them not to use their airspace amid reports of a full-scale war with Israel. Both Israel and Iran are engaged in a battle of words since the former waged a war in Palestine after Hamas and Palestine militant groups kidnapped more than 250 people in Israel. Israel blamed Hamas for killing at least 1200 people and the conflict broke out in the region.

A fresh trigger was the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran after which Iran is gearing up to take revenge against Tel Aviv. The US has recently sent a message through its allies in the region to Iran that a war is not in their interest as it can have a cascading impact on the economy of Iran which has already taken a hit post the sanctions by the US and its allies in Europe.

Meanwhile, the Russian officials visited Tehran and met Iranian officials amid reports that the US was deploying key military assets in the Middle East to prevent any possible attack by Iran on Israel. The US has time and again reiterated that it will defend Israel.

Meanwhile, Air India and Germany’s Lufthansa also cancelled their flights to Iran expecting a military conflict in the Middle East. This would mean a full-scale war as Israel’s PM held a discussion with its top army officials and security staff to prepare a response in case of an attack post-Haniyeh killing.

Israel-Hamas ceasefire talks also have been put on hold since an Iranian response is expected anytime soon. Iranian officials vowed a harsh response after Honiyeh’s killing.

Jordan has requested the inbound airlines to carry extra fuel due to operational reasons. If experts are to be believed this has been done amid the news of Iran attacking Israel after the US reports that the attack may happen anytime soon.

Reports also suggest that Tehran has moved its military assets in the forward position and a joint operations room has been set up in Iran to monitor army operations. On the other hand, Israel is prepared for any attack and may even consider a preemptive strike in the event of a possible attack by Iran.

Today the share markets across Asia and Europe opened in red leading to selling mayhem in the market. Many countries show a sharp drop in the market post the rate hikes announcements in Japan.
