The earthquake has caused widespread damage in Morocco, with over 2,012 people killed and many injured. Many buildings have collapsed, including homes, schools, and mosques. Rescue teams are working to find survivors and giving assistance to the affected people. Military forces and emergency services have been deployed in affected areas and a race to save as many lives as possible is still going on.

The government and self-help groups are providing water, food, tents, and blankets along with other essentials to those who are affected. However, one of the challenges that authorities are facing is poor infrastructure and how the supply of essential items can be supplied to these regions that are badly hit by this powerful earthquake.

This earthquake is the deadliest to hit Morocco in decades. It is also the most powerful earthquake to hit the country since the 1960 Agadir earthquake, which killed over 12,000 people.

The Moroccan government has declared a state of emergency in the affected areas. The government is providing financial assistance to the victims and is working to rebuild the damaged infrastructure.

The earthquake is a reminder of the seismic risk that Morocco faces. The country is located in a seismically active region, and earthquakes are a regular occurrence.
