Real Madrid came from behind to beat Real Sociedad 2-1 in LaLiga

Real Madrid continued their winning streak in LaLiga on Sunday, coming from behind to beat Real Sociedad 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The win was Real Madrid’s fifth in a row in LaLiga, and it keeps them top of the table. They are now two points ahead of second-placed Barcelona.
The visitors took the lead in the first half through Alexander Sorloth, but Real Madrid equalized early in the second half through Vinicius Jr. Benzema then scored the winning goal in the 76th minute, to give Real Madrid all three points.
The match was a close and entertaining affair, with both teams having chances to score. Real Madrid had more of the possession, but Real Sociedad were dangerous on the counter-attack.
Real Madrid’s manager Carlo Ancelotti was pleased with his team’s performance, especially after they went behind.
Real Madrid swiftly equalized right after play resumed, as Valverde delivered an impressive strike following a superb team effort. Ancelotti’s squad then seized control, securing the lead in the 60th minute courtesy of Joselu’s header from Fran García’s precise cross.
From that point on, Real Madrid faced little threat until the final whistle, and they came close to extending their advantage in the 85th minute when Valverde’s shot deflected off a defender and grazed the post. Additionally, Bellingham’s header was expertly denied by Remiro during stoppage time.
Real Sociedad’s manager Imanol Alguacil was disappointed with his team’s defeat, but he praised their performance. The win was a welcome relief for Real Madrid as it will give them confidence ahead of their next matches.
