Seema Haider sends Rakhis to PM Modi, CM Yogi and others
A viral video of Seema Haider, who entered India from Pakistan, shows that she had sent ‘rakhis’ to prominent figures including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ahead of the upcoming popular Raksha Bandhan festival.

Raksha Bandhan, observed on August 30, is a significant Indian festival where sisters tie ornamental threads called ‘rakhis’ around their brothers’ wrists as a symbol of their affection and safeguarding.
In a video circulating on social media, Haider conveyed her sentiment, stating, “I have dispatched these ‘rakhis’ in advance to ensure their timely arrival to my esteemed brothers, who shoulder the responsibilities of our nation. I’m filled with happiness. Jai Shri Ram. Jai Hind. Hindustan Zindabad.”
Haider’s entry into India occurred illicitly via Nepal earlier this year, and she settled in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh in a covertly rented dwelling, accompanied by her four children, all under the age of 7. She had undertaken this journey to reunite with her partner Sachin Meena, a resident of Greater Noida.
Haider and Sachin, who purportedly connected through the online game PUBG in 2019-20, were apprehended on July 4 of this year. However, they were subsequently granted bail by a local court on July 7. Despite ongoing investigations by local police and the UP Anti-Terrorist Squad, the duo continues to reside together in Greater Noida.
