Over allegations of forged signatures, the Aam Aadmi Party member Raghav Chadha has hit out at the BJP and asked the ruling party members, who accused him of forged signatures, to present the proof or document where they are saying the forged signatures are taken.

He explained that no signature or written consent is required of a member to propose his or her name for the select committee. So, the baseless rumour is being spread to tarnish my image and Chadha also said that he will approach the court and the committee of privileges against BJP members who leveled false allegations of forged signatures against him.

Chadha tweets, “Since the BJP and its (al)lies didn’t have a single substantial point to justify its Black Bill before the people of Delhi, they indulged in personal attacks and pointless arguments in the Rajya Sabha yesterday.”

“INDIA MPs including myself had to repeatedly raise points of order to keep the debate centred around the Bill, but to no avail.”

The five MPs accused Chadha that the young parliamentarian added their names to the proposed panel without seeking their consent. Earlier, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar referred the complaints of the MPs to the Privileges Committee.

Delhi Ordinance Bill is already passed in the parliament after receiving votes of 131 MPs against the opposition’s 102. The Centre government defended the ordinance, saying that it is necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of the government in the national capital. They argue that the Delhi government has been misusing its power over services and that the ordinance is necessary to put an end to this.
