The AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal also criticised the BJP home minister for neglecting Delhi’s law and order leading to a rise in criminal activities.
“Today, 40 schools in Delhi received bomb threats. Criminals in Delhi are out of control,” Kejriwal posted on his X account.
Delhi has been witnessing an uptick in criminal activities, including a series of murders, thefts, and incidents like chain snatching and car thefts. Recently, East Delhi and other areas have seen multiple murder cases, which have raised concerns among residents. While criminal activity is on the rise, many citizens feel that the Delhi police is struggling to keep up. Some residents have even stopped reporting minor crimes, as they feel their complaints are often ignored or not taken seriously. There is growing frustration regarding the law enforcement’s ability to address the issue effectively.
According to Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi is now grappling with rising crime and deteriorating law and order. Criminal activities in the city have reached alarming levels, with law enforcement struggling to maintain control. The latest incident highlights the alarming state of security in the city, as 40 schools across Delhi received bomb threats, sending shockwaves through the public. This comes amid reports of increasing criminal activities and a sense of insecurity among residents.
In recent months, Delhi has witnessed a significant surge in crime. The streets, once thought to be relatively safe, now seem to be at the mercy of criminals who appear emboldened by the lack of strict action. Whether it’s violent street crimes, car thefts, or organised gangs terrorising residents, the situation has become more precarious. Law enforcement agencies are struggling to keep pace with the growing number of criminal incidents.
Criminal elements continue to operate freely and this raises serious questions about the effectiveness of Delhi’s security apparatus and its ability to protect citizens.
The poor law and order prevailing in the city is evident in various areas, with criminals often operating in broad daylight. Residents are concerned not only about the immediate threat but also the long-term consequences of a city where law enforcement seems unable to provide the necessary protection. This lack of control over crime has sparked debates about the role of the police, judicial system, and government in ensuring public safety.
Citizens are increasingly questioning the government’s ability to provide a secure environment. With criminals becoming more audacious and the police struggling to manage the situation, the residents are left feeling vulnerable. The failure to address this growing concern has led to a sense of helplessness among the people, who are demanding swift action to restore order.
